Teaching Style
My classes are all about gentle, supportive movement. We’ll use props like blocks and blankets to make poses accessible for you and comfortable for your dog—especially important for senior pups. The pace is slow, and we focus on breathing and connection, so both you and your dog leave feeling relaxed and cared for.
Me & My Pup
Luna is 10 years old and has arthritis in her hips. I’ve spent years modifying poses to keep her comfortable—like using a pillow under her chest for “doggy Child’s Pose.” Seeing how much better she moves (and how much joy she gets from our sessions) inspired me to specialize in senior dog Pawlates. Every dog deserves to stay active and happy, no matter their age.
“Maya helped my 12-year-old Lab, Buddy, stay active. His vet was shocked at how much his mobility improved after just a month of her gentle classes.”
